NewsSrodowiskowa League - Pomeranian amateur basketball league in Poland Pmedia Media Platform in collaboration with partners, has been involved in popularizing basketball in Pomerania, and more. They organized a number of sports projects, the largest of which is the Srodowiskowa League. Permanently to the basketball calendar of events included are: Sopot Basketball League (organized in the years 2002-2013 with the Association of Trivium), Srodowiskowa League (amateur Pomerania championship 2009-2013), Pomerania Cup (2011-2013), International Basketball Tournament of Independence Day (in 2006-2008, together with the SMOK association), Streetball Molo (in the years 1993-2013, together with Trivium), St. Nicholas Basketball Week (2011-2012), Basket Cup (2012-2013), Maxibasketball League (2012, 2013), Orlik Streetball (in 2012-2013 together with the Pupils Sports Club UKS7 Trefl Sopot) and numerous football tournaments and events. Since the new season we co-create the International Amateur Basketball League (IABL). Currently 36 teams compete on the basketball floor of Srodowiskowej League and 10 teams in Sopot Basketball League. The struggle for the title of best in Pomerania are pending in three groups - the first, second and third division and Maxibasketball. Patronage of the competitions took - Marshal of the Pomeranian and the presidents: of Gdynia - Wojciech Szczurek, Sopot - Jacek Karnowski and Gdansk - Pawel Adamowicz.
